The Worcester County Health Department’s Crisis Response Team provides 24-hour coverage 365 days a year to residents and visitors of Worcester County. CRT is activated by Law Enforcement, Atlantic General Hospital and various other agencies throughout the county. CRT provides an emergency mental health and addiction assessment on the scene and attempts to connect individuals to community resources as appropriate. Assessments are provided by masters’ level mental health professionals.
Maryland Choices, a nonprofit care management entity (CME), began operations in 2005. As the statewide CME for Maryland, Maryland Choices combines funding from multiple governmental entities and manages a process of support and services that are individualized around each child and family with intensive needs.

Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
Go-Getters is a community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program whose mission is to assist people recovering from severe mental illness in re-integrating their lives in the larger communities of Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.

ESMCT is part of Affiliated Santé Group’s Crisis Response Programs providing services in the least restrictive environment. Services are activated via the Call Center at 1-888-407-8018 seven days a week, 365 days a year from 9:00am to midnight. There are four Mobile Crisis teams located in Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, and Wicomico counties that cover all 9 counties of the Eastern Shore.
FAMILY NAVIGATOR: Provides family support, education, advocacy, coaching, information and referral, and follow-up services to link families and community resources. Focus of assistance is toward accessing services for children with special needs. Available to review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and to accompany a family to key community agency meetings.
ELIGIBILITY: Families with intensive needs including: income crisis, caring for children (birth-21 years) with mental illness, behavior problems, or physical, developmental, and learning disabilities.
